Four Years on Wheels:   Our Absolute Favorite Things About RV Life in our Entegra Coach
Four years, can you believe it? That's how long we've called our Entegra Coach home. It's been a wild ride, literally, filled with breathtaking landscapes, unexpected adventures, and a whole lot of learning and fun. When people ask us what we love most about this lifestyle, it's hard to narrow it down, but here are some of our absolute favorite things about living in our coach for at least half of every year.

1. Our Ever-Changing Backyard:
Forget mowing the lawn! Our backyard is constantly evolving. From waking up to the sound of water at lakes or beaches to sipping coffee with a mountain vista in the Smokies, the scenery is always fresh and inspiring. This constant change keeps life exciting and prevents us from ever getting bored. We've seen sunrises over deserts, sunsets painting canyons, and starlit skies so bright they take your breath away. Every week or two, we relocate for a new exciting backyard.

2. Freedom and Flexibility:
The ability to pick up and move whenever we want is incredibly liberating. If we don't like the weather, we drive somewhere else. If we fall in love with a place, we can stay longer. We're not tied down by a rigid schedule. This freedom extends to our daily routines, allowing us to work, pursue hobbies, explore new interests, and live life on our own terms.

 3. Simplicity and Minimalism:
Living in a smaller space forces you to prioritize what's truly important. Our Entegra Coach is luxury on wheels, and we rarely miss our home in Texas and other possessions, since we have lots of storage space to bring our essentials. We've learned to live with less, and it's surprisingly freeing. Our coach is always packed and ready to go with our favorite linens and kitchenware. This minimalist lifestyle has not only decluttered our physical space but also our mental space, allowing us to focus on what matters most. We bring our hobbies (sewing and craft supplies), water floats, hiking poles and pickleball equipment.

4. Community and Connections:
The RV community and other Entegra Coach owners are incredibly welcoming and supportive. Our coach is a real eye-turner. Regardless of where we park, someone always stops to visit and asks about our Entegra. We've met some of the most amazing people from all walks of life, all united by a love of travel and adventure. Sharing stories, tips, and experiences with fellow RVers has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this lifestyle. We've found a sense of belonging and camaraderie that we never expected within the Entegra Coach owner’s group.

5. Constant Learning and Growth:
RV life is a constant learning experience. From mastering the intricacies of our coaches systems to navigating unfamiliar roads and adapting to new environments, we're always learning and growing. We've become more resourceful, self-reliant, and adaptable. This ongoing process of learning and discovery has made us more confident and capable. Don’t get me wrong, things happen and sometimes travel days don’t go as planned. We’ve learned the “F” word – be “Flexible”!

6. Immersive Experiences:
Living in our coach allows us to truly immerse ourselves in the places we visit. We're not just tourists passing through, staying in hotels; we're living among the locals, exploring hidden gems, and experiencing the culture firsthand. We've had the opportunity to connect with nature on a deeper level, to learn about different communities, and to create lasting memories.

 7. Unexpected Adventures:
RV life is full of surprises. Unexpected detours, and spontaneous adventures are all part of the package. While these moments can sometimes be challenging, they often lead to the most memorable experiences. We've learned to embrace the unexpected and to go with the flow. To adapt, we use multiple map apps to try to identify and avoid construction and detours. We’ve learned to use the satellite view to ensure exits and parking lots can accommodate our coach.

8. Time Spent Together:
Living in a small space means we spend a lot of time together. We've learned to communicate better, to appreciate each other's company, and to create a strong bond. This shared experience has strengthened our relationship and created a deeper connection.

9. Our Perfect Coach
Last but not least, our coach is ideal for this lifestyle. We’ve been lifetime campers and our Entegra Cornerstone is by far the very best coach we’ve owned. It’s super quiet, has a smooth ride and our 44D floorplan fits our lifestyle perfectly. We love the bath and a half, king bed and large bathroom. Our washer and dryer get a weekly workout along with our dishwasher. We use everything and the icing on the top, literally is the Starlink roof-mounted for constant internet, ensuring my day job has flawless connections.

Four years in, we can confidently say that RV life has exceeded our expectations. It's been a journey of discovery, adventure, and personal growth. While it's not always easy, the rewards far outweigh the challenges. If you're considering hitting the road in a coach, we say go for it! You might just discover your own favorite things about this incredible lifestyle.

Entegra Coach Ambassadors: Cornerstone

In 2021, Jeri and Kenny Saulsbury sold their home in Texas, moved into
their Entegra Coach, and hit the road with their cat, Sophie, living the digital
nomadic lifestyle. When not on the road, they call Panama City Beach, FL
